Holland Park Garden Gallery established over 40 years ago is a well known garden centre located in the heart of Burlington. To meet the growing demand for our services, we are expanding our team of professionals. We currently have a Foreperson Employment opportunity available.

About You

As an experienced landscape industry expert you are knowledgeable in all aspects of landscaping,you are able to develop procedures, work along side and supervise employees as well as train them when necessary. You are organized, manage your time well and can maintain accurate, detailed records as prescribed by the manager. You have a proven ability to multi-task and work as part of a team. You are physically fit, can lift heavy products when needed comfortably and are able to work long hours outdoors and in varied weather conditions. You must be willing to learn and upgrade skills when requested.

Other job specifications are:

  • A valid G driver's license in good standing. (Candidates must provide a current drivers abstract)
  • 5 to 10 years of landscape installation experience with CLT or CHT designation as an asset
  • Neat appearance and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A strong work ethic
  • Excellent customer service with good verbal and written communication skill
  • Able to work well under pressure with close attention to detail
  • Service oriented with effective time management and organizational skills
  • To be self-motivated to meet project deadlines
  • To have experience with skid steer loaders, excavators, compaction equip, etc.
  • Knowledge in grading and drainage and understand landscape plan and site layout.
  • You will work closely with the landscape manager and you could become a key individual in the business.
